Flathead on Canvas: Small Town Charm to Countryside Splendor

Rex Stewart and Jeff Troupe are two artists who share a love for the outdoors and were drawn to the Flathead Valley for its rugged beauty and endless inspiration for their paintings. This exhibit is a celebration of the things about the region that make us feel most at home. Both Rex and Jeff paint primarily outdoors, or plein air, and use bold color and brushwork which results in vibrant and energetic work.  Their styles are distinct, yet complement one another nicely.  Flathead on Canvas will bring together two artists and their unique was of seeing the Flathead Valley in a single show. This exhibition is on view from February 24th through April 29th, 2017. A preview opening reception is held Thursday, February 23rd from 5-7pm.
