Join us for our annual children’s art exhibition, presenting artwork from Flathead Valley K-8 students in a variety of different mediums. 2017’s theme is music: how can you ‘see’ music or paint a sound? Both music and visual art can be displayed by color, pattern, texture, rhythm, harmony, movement, and composition. This exhibit encourages students to submit artwork featuring their interpretations of music through visual art.
An opening reception will be held January 19, 2017 from 5-7pm.
This exhibition is on view in the Hockaday Museum of Art Community Gallery from January 19 – March 4, 2017.
