Joan Renne: Tapestries for the Body and Wall

• This exhibition highlights the work of Flathead Valley artist and master weaver Joan Renne.  A native Montanan, Renne is also an accomplished classically trained musician who utilizes improvisation both in her unique fiber sculptures and tapestries as well as her music.

Artist Talk and Demonstration

• Artist Joan Renne will give a short talk about the art of weaving and share stories about some of her works on display.  This will be followed by a demonstration of the art of backstrap weaving.
