- The Hockaday Museum of Art and MAGDA (Montana Art and Gallery Directors Association) are pleased to present Synthesizing Icons: Composite Photographs by Larry Blackwood. Please join us to celebrate the innovative amalgamations by Larry Blackwood on view April 8, 2022 through June 11, 2022.
- By transposing photographs, patterns, and imagery popular in the Western art scene, Blackwood is able to push the traditional boundaries of photography and subject matter. He uses a computer program to blend original photographs, repeat images and other techniques, to create Surrealist tableaux that are ethereal and mysterious.
