FRANCESCA DROLL

“I’m endlessly inspired to discover and become familiar with the variations and nuances of this landscape. Pastels are my chosen medium. They allow me the ability to use bold flourishing strokes as well as subtle blending to convey mood and motion in the composition. Pastels encourage my exploration of vibrant and colorful expression.”

BONNIE ZAHN GRIFFITH

My love of the landscape prompts me to paint it, and I look for a story to tell when I paint. I work to create art into which the viewer can step into, finding and experiencing their own story.  If that happens, then I have done my job. “From the ground up, the stretch of the landscape, the embrace of the colors, the magnitude of the terrain and the physical earth all shape my vision  from my heart; so my love of the land.”

SHANNA KUNZ

As a contemporary landscape painter, my work is a conscious play of mood, light and color, but as a naturalist raised and rooted in the diverse landscapes of western America, a painting means more than that to me. Each location is an encounter of spirit with the land, the trees, and the waters that have always given me a sense of connection and order.

ERICA NEUMANN

Erica Neumann is best known for abstract wildlife paintings, especially bears, painted with bold colour and vigorous brushwork using the alla prima technique. A dedicated fine artist, she values good craftmanship and continues the tradition established by the Group of Seven, often depicting wildlife as her preferred subject.

GINI OGLE

Gini is a dedicated student of the arts and continues to expand her work in new directions. Gini’s oil paintings speak she has witnessed as a fourth generation Montanan. A notable aspect of her work is that it reflects a response that is purely intuitive. In doing so, Gini makes the intuitive parts of her experience visible allowing the viewer to bring their own response to the work.
