Artists Gini Ogle and Francesca Droll partnered up to participate in the Hockaday Museum of Art’s artist-in-residence program, Artist Wilderness Connection, hosted in collaboration with the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, Swan Valley Connections, and Flathead National Forest.
During their residency, Ogle and Droll spent 11 days in a forest service cabin in the Great Bear Wilderness in July, 2017.
“Because we are plein air artists with two different perspectives, working in the same landscape in two different media, Gini in oils and Francesca in pastels, Gini came up with the title for our program: 2 Sides to Every Story.”
Join Ogle & Droll for a talk and showing of a video documenting their AWC experience on August 2, 2018 from 5-7pm. This exhibit is on view from August 2 through November 2, 2018.
